Judy Kessinger started her career owning and operating a small retail fabric store in Louisville, KY. She traveled nationwide holding seminars for Hancock Fabrics for over 25 years. She also designs and creates costumes for national and international figure skaters. With the encouragement of family and friends Judy started a sew business combining her art of teaching and fitting into the development and production of two patterns – one for Tops and one for Pants. Once you FIT the pattern, an entire wardrobe can be created. Sewing with just two patterns definitely takes the STRESS out of seamstress. She is known as the Fit Doctor, curing the ills of the sewing “blues.” Sewing is the easy part but it’s the FITTING that makes garments come alive and compliment the body – no matter the size – instead of just covering it! Judy has appeared on various TV shows showcasing her patterns and her methods of fitting. Judy has been blessed to have touched the lives of countless women, teaching them the tricks of looking and feeling fantastic by simply fitting themselves properly.

Take Your Pants Off – And Let's Make Some that FIT!
Hands-on workshop without sewing machines
Class fee: $30 Kit fee $30
Kit includes Master Pants Pattern, instructions to achieve that Perfect pair of Pants, two yards Pattern Ease, one yard of elastic to use in your first pair – all in a canvas tote.
Take the smiles out of your pants – they belong on your face! You will have your measurements personally recorded and draw a pattern that only fits you. Judy will show you how to make any necessary adjustments on the finished garment and then transfer those adjustments to your pattern. Learn all the sewing and fitting tricks to make your pants look perfect. We will also discuss fabric choices for comfy pants. You will feel and look fantastic and look like you've lost 10 pounds! Join Judy Kessinger for a two hour trunk show that will both excite and inspire you to sew for yourself! You will see creative touches such as machine and serger embellishments, embroidery designs and fun with machine needles. Easy to use notions and all the tricks of gluing! Kit includes knit top pattern and all the instructions to achieve that Perfect Tee, Pattern Ease to trace off your individual pattern, directions to convert your knit pattern to woven fabric, all in a canvas tote.
Please bring supplies: yardstick, Scotch tape, tape measure, scissors, and pencil.
Have you ever wanted that perfect tee shirt without the cling? You will have you measurements personally recorded, draft your personal pattern, and learn how to sew it together the easy way! You will learn different necklines for your knit top, a quick way to sew in sleeves and all the finishing techniques. Then learn how to TWEAK your garment and pattern. Armed with these tricks, be ready to AMAZE yourself! This is just the beginning of all the FUN! This class you will actually draw your pattern that ONLY FITS YOU!

Public Show
Vendor Sales
full time position – immediate opening
As a Public Show Salesperson you will be responsible for the financial success of our public expo events. You will be responsible for selling the expo by contacting former vendors and cold calling potential new vendors as well as sponsorship and help build attendance. Your responsibility will be to foster and maintain relationships with key industry accounts to increase vendor sales and attendance by communicating the value of the event. Candidate will also assist in expanding to different markets.
